ABOUT THE WRITER

Australian author, Matthew Wooding, moved to England in 2013 from Canada with his wife when she was offered an opportunity to pursue her career as an English teacher. Previously, Matthew worked as a writer and Senior Editor of the football website, The Subs Bench, and writing and hosting the website’s podcast. In 2015, Matthew published his first book, Letters to Nan. Matthew released his second novel, No Place Called Home, in December 2016, and currently writing his third novel, under a working title. Last year, he was inspired to share his talent for creativity and his love of writing with the younger generation by his wife, running creative writing programs and independent literacy workshops in West Yorkshire.
